CleanMail Server (formerly NoSpamToday! for Servers) is an SMTP proxy server based spam filter that sits between the internet and your mail server. It accepts the incoming mail, filters it and passes it on to your mail server. This is done completely transparent, and all settings, rules and configuration of your mail server remain unchanged.
